WHAT IS IMMERSIVE THEATRE?
Although there are many definitions of immersive theatre, we define it as theatre in which the audience is an active participant. You cannot simply sit back and watch this show-you must actively seek out physical locations and solve riddles and clues to unlock more and more of this story.
WHAT IS AN ALTERNATE REALITY GAME?
An Alternate Reality Game is “an interactive networked narrative that uses the real world as a platform and employs transmedia storytelling to deliver a story that may be altered by players' ideas or actions.”-Wikipedia. In our story, this means that in order to experience the entirety of this experience, you may have to go to websites such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, or even answer a phone call.
NOW THAT I HAVE FOUND THIS STORY, WHEN CAN I SEE THE ENDING?
This method of storytelling is not intended to be completed in one day or even one month. Monuments will be released to the public in phases on a schedule, and depending on when you have found this experience, all the monuments might not yet exist. Once all monuments have been released, the story will exist fully in a nonlinear fashion for you to unlock and piece together.

I AM STUCK!
Don’t panic! Sitting with a problem for a time might help you solve it. However, if you are in a rush or have no patience for puzzles, you might check with fellow audience members on our forums (coming soon!) to see whether they are having any luck solving the puzzle you are stuck on. As a last resort, or for the audience member that just hates doing puzzles, solution sheets will be available for purchase on the Union for Contemporary Art’s website (coming soon!).
